IssueLab

IssueLab seeks to build a single repository of research by and about nonprofits. It has succeeded in building that repository, and it now has thousands of documents and a set of powerful tools. However, it has struggled to build the user base its content deserves. Similarly, it has had only partial success in building earned revenue and finding more foundation funders. Accordingly, IssueLab is seeking aligned organizations to either acquire it or merge with it. The most likely partner is Foundation Center, based in New York City, which would offer scale and stability while benefiting from IssueLab's agility and innovation. This grant will allow IssueLab time to secure a partner.
