for "The Antidote" film project
The International Documentary Association (IDA), founded in 1982, is a nonprofit that promotes nonfiction filmmakers and is dedicated to increasing public awareness for the documentary genre. IDA is serving as fiscal sponsor for "The Antidote" film project. Directed by Academy Award nominee Kahane Cooperman and six-time Emmy winner John Hoffman, "The Antidote" aims to drive a national conversation about the roles that kindness, decency, compassion, and respect play in a civilized democratic society. It is a multi-funder documentary focused on bringing people into healthy relations with each other, listening to their wants and desires, respecting their boundaries, and treating them with dignity.
