Overview
The Intercollegiate Studies Institute’s mission is to inspire college students to discover, embrace, and advance the principles and virtues that make America free and prosperous. The purpose of this grant is to support the institute’s Humane Economy Initiative that provides educational programs and content for students, alumni, and scholars to explore the foundations of a humane economy in light of contemporary political, cultural, and national security challenges. This project will convene the country’s most respected thinkers and writers on political economy to develop and execute a student conference in the Washington, D.C., area exploring new economic paradigms. The video and journalistic content developed from the project will serve as a springboard for a national conversation on how our economy can better advance the safety and happiness of the American people.
