Overview
Green Corps was founded in 1992 to train organizers, provide field support for today's environmental campaigns and graduate activists who possess the skills and commitment to the environment. They serve three target populations: recent college graduates seeking a career in the environment field; field staff of environmental groups that are seeking grassroots organizing expertise; and the general public to increase citizen engagement in the environment. The focus of this coming year is threefold: (1) deepening campus and online recruitment outreach; (2) improving their core curriculum; and (3) launching new alumni support programs.
