Overview
The East Bay Community Foundation continues to administer the Fund for Artists, which works to build individual donor capacity and bring new resources to artists and small arts organizations for commissions, fellowships, and residencies. An important aspect of the program remains training and technical assistance for participants in how to market their work and develop individual donor relationships. The Community Foundation is committed to this program as an important source of support and training to the artistic community in the East Bay. A renewed grant for the Fund for Artists would provide grants to ten to fifteen artists per year for new work, bolstered by matching funds from individual donors cultivated by the recipients.
