Grants to this Grantee
for general operating support
Founded in 1928, East Bay Community Foundation (EBCF) connects donors with community-led movements to create an inclusive, fair, and just East Bay. EBCF is committed to ensuring that all members of the community are treated fairly, with equitable opportunity and outcomes. It partners with donors, social movements, and the community to eliminate structural barriers; advance racial equity; and transform political, social, and economic outcomes for all who call the East Bay home. This grant provides general operating support to EBCF.
for the East Bay Fund for Artists
The East Bay Community Foundation supports fair and equitable opportunities and outcomes for residents of the eastern region of the San Francisco Bay Area. Its pooled fund and regranting programs support individuals and communities experiencing low incomes and other disadvantages, including the East Bay Fund for Artists. Each year, this fund provides 15 to 40 grants to composers, playwrights, choreographers, and visual and media artists to commission new works that promote racial and social justice. This grant for the East Bay Fund for Artists advances the Performing Arts Program’s Artists strategy.
