La Red por los Derechos de la Infancia (REDIM) is a coalition of 73 civil society organizations promoting the adoption of the Children Right Convention into the Mexican Legal Framework. We recommend renewing this grant to keep rising public awareness about the health impacts on boys and girls that is caused from bad air quality, as well as to have them as valid representatives before federal agencies such as the Ministry of Health, the National Sanitary Risk Commission, the Ministry of Economy, the Federal Regulatory Improvement Commission to guarantee their right to breathe clean air.

Grants to this Grantee
for a project to promote childrens' rights to clean air through social participation
La Red por los Derechos de la Infancia (REDIM) advocates for Mexican children's rights and promotes policies that benefit children's well being. REDIM's advocacy actions and messages have been very effective in moving the process to update federal air quality regulations in the last two years. We recommend renewing this grant to support REDIM's work for the finalization of the ozone and particulates standards, and to work on complementary strategies such as fuel quality standards and local policies in the most polluted cities, to guarantee the Mexican children's right to breathe clean air .
