Overview
Debunk Media is a Kenyan nonpartisan media platform that uses interactive storytelling to engage readers on issues of public interest. In a context of voter apathy, heightened polarization, and democratic disillusionment, Debunk Media will launch a two-year project to reclaim trust in independent journalism and increase the civic engagement of its audience. Through their coverage of “people, politics, and pop culture,” Debunk Media will construct respectful spaces where readers discuss issues of public interest and engage directly with public officials.
