Data4Change

For The Data Hubs: Africa Program

Overview
Data4Change partners with high-impact civil society organizations (CSOs) to defend human rights with data. This grant specifically supports Data4Change’s Africa Hub program, which will strengthen and expand collaborative efforts in East and West Africa to boost local CSOs’ data, design, and storytelling skills for policy advocacy. Ultimately, the goal is to cultivate a data-curious, critical, and confident culture among African CSOs, enabling them to leverage citizen-generated data to champion policies that genuinely reflect community needs. Data4Change will prioritize partnerships with community-led organizations affected by data exclusion or extraction, ensuring they are not only represented in decision-making data, but also benefit from the insights derived from it. (Strategy: Evidence-Informed Policymaking)
