CUTS Geneva Resource Centre

For The Implementation Of The Fostering Equitable Agricultural Development Project In E. Africa

Overview
The Consumer Unity and Trust Society (CUTS) Geneva Resource Centre was established with Hewlett support to foster a pro-trade, pro-development, credible Southern NGO voice in Geneva and conduct a project on fostering equity and accountability in the trading systems of five Sub-Saharan African countries. With this tie-off grant, CUTS would implement the Fostering Equity and Accountability in the Trading System project and will launch the Fostering Equitable Agricultural Development in Sub-Saharan Africa (FEADS) project in select countries in eastern and southern Africa. FEADS will help develop an enabling environment for private sector-led and farmer-friendly agricultural development through policy-oriented research and analysis, targeted advocacy, and networking for empowerment and change.
