Overview
The Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY is the only public graduate school of journalism in the Northeast, graduating nearly 120 students annually, with typically about half of each cohort coming from underrepresented communities. This grant will help the university’s community of students, alumni, and underrepresented communities attend education conferences and seminars, strengthening their understanding of education issues. This two-year program aligns with the Hewlett Foundation’s objective of supporting diverse voices, stories, and media beats in our nation’s conversation around the education sector.
