The Council for Aid to Education intends to design and scale deeper learning assessments in community colleges. No valid national assessments of student learning and progress are currently tailored to two-year institutions. The Council plans to customize the groundbreaking test (the Collegiate Learning Assessment) it developed for four-year institutions for community colleges.
