Overview
Classical Public Radio Network, better known as Classical KDFC, is a collection of five classical music radio stations broadcasting throughout the Bay Area including the South Bay and Peninsula (104.9), San Francisco and East Bay (90.3), North Bay (89.9), Los Gatos (90.3) and Ukiah (92.5). Programming includes regular broadcasts by Hewlett Foundation grantees such as San Francisco Opera, San Francisco Symphony and Philharmonia Baroque. In addition, KDFC provides local arts coverage for activities and events throughout the Bay Area. KDFC attracts a weekly audience of 340,000 listeners with an additional 95,000 people listening via live stream on the internet. First time support will enable the organization to implement strategic priorities for integrated social media, website redesign, and expanded fundraising.
