Overview
This grant would enable the Center to focus the attention of leading businesses on the labor demands that mandate deeper learning and involve them in developing tools to assess graduates’ abilities in those skills. In addition, an MIT doctoral student, to be selected by the Center, will update the seminal research on skills and labor needs conducted by Dick Murnane and Frank Levy in the 1990s.
