for general operating support
CAST is a not-for-profit organization with a mission of transforming education design and practice. CAST is the originator of Universal Design for Learning, a method of addressing learner variability by providing flexible, customizable designs with the goal of giving all individuals equal opportunities to learn. The organization’s research, inclusive technology development, and professional learning improve the accessibility of learning in the classroom, in informal learning settings, and in the workplace. (Substrategy: Field Building)
for support of internal awareness building, communications assistance, and strategic planning
CAST, a nonprofit organization that invented Universal Design for Learning, helps educators and organizations apply insights from the learning sciences and leading-edge practices to educational design and implementation. Through their Rise to Equity project, CAST will gather information and engage external consultants to ensure that their work is fully reflective of and connected to culturally relevant pedagogy and diverse populations. This effort will build toward CAST’s vision of open and inclusive education systems in the United States and abroad. (Substrategy: Field Building)
