Grants to this Grantee
for building civic engagement in environmentally impacted communities
The California League of Conservation Voters will conduct a program to covert Asian Pacific Island (API) voters to permanent absentee (vote by mail) voters in several highly polluted neighborhoods in LA County, and partner with a local API organization on outreach and subsequent civic engagement efforts. Their goal is to build electoral power and public policy changes in environmentally impacted API communities by increasing the civic participation of APIs to ultimately increase environmental protections and improve public health.
for general operating support
This general operating support grant for the California League of Conservation Voters Education Fund will support the ability of this nonprofit organization to educate, engage, and empower community members across California to protect their air, water, and other environmental values.
