Overview
The Busara Center for Behavioral Economics is a research and advisory firm based in Nairobi, Kenya, that advises government and civil society partners to apply behavioral science in the pursuit of poverty alleviation. In partnership with MIT Governance Lab, the Busara Center for Behavioral Economics trains graduate students from local universities in East Africa in behavioral science research. The Busara Center for Behavioral Economics will deploy behavioral science units within African partner organizations to embed a culture of behavioral science through experimental evaluation.
