Bend the Arc: A Jewish Partnership for Justice

For Support Of FCYO’s Fundraising And Board Development Plan

Overview
This OE grant to Bend the Arc: A Jewish Partnership for Justice will support the Funders’ Collaborative for Youth Organizing: 1) board development plan and 2) fundraising plan. FCYO will be hiring a consultant for 14-months to design a fundraising plan that will spin off from their recent feasibility study. The purpose of the financial plan is to enhance the resources available to the youth organizing field and launch a Youth Power pledge campaign to secure $20 million for the field. This will contribute to FCYO's infrastructure, financial health, reach new funders, generate more resources to the field, and grow as an organization to be a more stable anchor for the youth organizing field. FCYO will work with a second consultant to design a board development plan. The objective of the board development plan is to examine the capacity of FCYO to bring on new funders, enhance board engagement, and expand programming.
