Grants to this Grantee
for research assessing institution initiatives on OER, equity, and inclusion
The Association of American Colleges and Universities (AAC&U) is the leading national association dedicated to making quality and equity the foundations for excellence in undergraduate education, and ISKME is a research and technology innovation nonprofit focused on OER and open pedagogy support. With this grant, AAC&U will collaborate with ISKME to assess how and to what extent institutions participating in AAC&U’s inaugural Institute on Open Educational Resources connect their work to campus-level diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. (Substrategy: Sustainable Systems)
for implementing new rigorous student learning assessments in higher education
With this grant support, Association members will work to incorporate into their practices and policies a new national framework of student learning outcomes called the Degree Qualifications Profile. It emphasizes deeper learning and defines what students should know and be able to do once they have earned associate, bachelor’s, or master’s degrees.
