Overview
ALPHADEV is a Senegalese NGO that works toward the socioeconomic promotion of women, young people, and children from disadvantaged backgrounds. It aims for sustainable development at the grassroots so that communities can take charge of their own development, thus promoting the emergence of a more just and prosperous society. Its main mission is to contribute to the reduction of poverty at the local and national level by strengthening the capacities and the power of underserved categories of population.
Through this grant, ALPHADEV will promote citizen participation at the subnational level for better economic governance in the districts of Keur Massar, Kaffrine, Mbirkilane, Koungueul, and Malème Hodar. (Strategy: Inclusive Governance).
