for general operating support
Akina Mama wa Afrika (AMwA) is a feminist pan-African organization building feminist leadership and collective power to deconstruct intersectional systems of oppression and advance gender justice. Under its new strategic plan, AMwA aims to scale up feminist activism on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) in Africa to secure better outcomes for women, girls, and gender-expansive persons. AMwA aims to deepen partnerships in Uganda, Kenya, Zambia, Rwanda, and Ethiopia and at the regional and global level to mobilize a critical and growing mass of feminist advocates that actively supports intersectional SRHR activism.
