This grant to Advocates for Youth will support the 1 in 3 Campaign, a nationwide effort to increase the visibility of abortion experiences through storytelling. This is done by the gathering and disseminating of women’s stories, events like the online national abortion speak-out, and a play that tours nationally. The campaign’s long-term goal is to help people see abortion through personal experiences and to increase public and political support for abortion rights.
