For The Production Of A Guide On Integrating Racial And Social Justice Into Sex Education

Overview
This grant will support Advocates for Youth for the production of a guide on integrating racial and social justice into sex education. Advocates for Youth is a member of the Sex Education Collaborative (SEC), which includes national and state-based organizations that focus on improving sex education to make it more inclusive and comprehensive. To that effect, SEC will be producing training modules and guides for teachers and sex educators that will demonstrate how to integrate racial and social justice into their curriculums.

Advocates for Youth works to promote policies and programs that recognize young people’s rights to sexual health information, accessible and affordable sexual health services, and the resources and opportunities necessary to create sexual health equity for all youth. The organization’s advocacy is strengthened by working in close partnerships with youth leaders, adult allies, and youth-serving organizations. (Strategy: U.S. Reproductive Equity)
