Actions pour l’Environnement et le Développement Durable (ACED) is a policy research organization in Benin that connects evidence to policy and local action in the food security and nutrition sector, with the ultimate aim of improving the livelihoods of vulnerable populations. This grant will support ACED in enhancing production and access to policy-relevant evidence; increasing the capacities of stakeholders in demanding, accessing, and brokering evidence; and improving evidence use by policymakers and practitioners. This grant will support ACED to work with five municipal governments to provide improved access to relevant, accurate, and useful evidence from diversified sources; strengthen the capacity of local government policymakers to demand, access, and use evidence; and enable local governments to develop evidence-informed plans and programs to improve food security.
