SchoolHouse Connection

This OE grant will enable SchoolHouse Connection to conduct a comprehensive assessment of their human resources infrastructure and to implement recommended amelioration across five human resource domains with the intention of improving the overall operating environment and staff experience.

SchoolHouse Connection is a national nonprofit organization working to overcome homelessness through education. Children and youth who experience homelessness are far less likely to complete high school than their peers. Access to stable and equitable high-quality education, from early childhood through postsecondary education, helps equip students to end the cycle and experiences of homelessness and achieve their dreams. Nationwide, there are more than 1.5 million public school students who were homeless at some point during the most recent school year, and due to the pandemic, the numbers continue to rise.
