for support of organizational diversity, equity and inclusion capacity to advance educational equity
BCcampus provides teaching, learning, educational technology, and open education support to the British Columbia postsecondary system and manages the Open Education Program funded by the Hewlett Foundation and the British Columbia Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills and Training. This organizational effectiveness grant supports their internal work to deepen awareness, knowledge, skill, and capacity about educational equity. Helping our grantees become more aware, prepared and competent around internal issues of equity will ensure that their field-focused work - and the field of education more broadly - reflects the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
for support of the BCcampus open education program
BCcampus provides teaching, learning, educational technology, and open education support to the British Columbia postsecondary system and manages the Open Education Program funded by the Hewlett Foundation and the British Columbia Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills and Training. With this grant, BCcampus will continue to increase the use of open textbooks among faculty while building capacity, advocacy, and knowledge of open education in the B.C. system. In doing so, the project will promote mainstream adoption of open textbooks and awareness of open educational practices to transform learning and teaching.
