Chinese Cultural Productions

Chinese Cultural Productions creates contemporary art that is rooted in Chinese cultural traditions. Its dance ensemble, Lily Cai Chinese Dance Company, presents original choreography created by co-founder, Lily Cai, and music by composer, Gang Situ. Through a home season, touring, and local festivals, the organization reaches 8,000 people each year. It also provides in-school educational demonstrations of Chinese music and culture, reaching 100 San Francisco youth each year. Support of Chinese Cultural Productions aligns with the Performing Arts Program’s Continuity and Engagement strategy through the Innovative Works component.
