Overview

The PropelNext Partnership is made up of five foundations, including the Hewlett Foundation, the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, the Sobrato Family Foundation, the Weingart Foundation, and the Edna McConnell Clark Foundation, that aim to strengthen nonprofits serving economically disadvantaged youth in the San Francisco Bay Area and Southern California.

15 grantee organizations each receive up to $400,000 over three years in unrestricted funds from one of the California foundations, plus an equal investment from Edna McConnell Clark Foundation, in tailored coaching, consulting and other learning activities, in order to work more effectively.

Goals

Enhance the ability of organizations to collect, use and apply data for ongoing improvement and learning by enhancing their program models, implementing strong performance management systems, and developing organizational cultures that facilitate and practice ongoing learning and assessment.
