Founded in 1986, Youth Service America (YSA) is a nonprofit organization that partners with thousands of organizations committed to increasing the quality and quantity of volunteer opportunities for young people, ages five to 25. It supports a global culture of engaged children and youth to serve locally, nationally, and globally. Moving forward, YSA plans to engage 500,000 young people — including at least 150,000 youth from underserved communities — through partnerships with 10,000 schools, youth development organizations, and community organizations.
