Overview
Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, known as YBCA, is a multi-disciplinary arts center dedicated to developing and presenting performances, exhibitions, lectures, civic engagement activities, and festivals. YBCA also supports individual artists with funding, professional development opportunities, and opportunities to present their work. In a typical year, YBCA offers more than 120 performances, and draws audiences of more than 75,000 from around the Bay Area and nation to its theaters and galleries in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood. This grant will support the development, marketing, and presentation of artist-driven convenings that align with the Performing Arts Program’s Artists strategy.
