Overview
The World Bank Group is an international financial institution that provides low-cost loans and grants to developing countries around the world, as well as policy advice, research, and technical assistance. The World Bank Group’s twin goals are to eradicate extreme poverty and boost shared prosperity. In conjunction with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the Hilton Foundation, this grant will support the World Bank to drive more and better investments in child care by contributing to the evidence base through developing tools, guidance, and analytical work and by supporting country level work through helping World Bank operational teams make the case for child care and assisting them to design and implement quality projects.
