Women in Informal Employment: Globalizing and Organizing

For Strategic Fundraising

Overview
Women in Informal Employment: Globalizing and Organizing (WIEGO) is a global action-research-policy network that seeks to improve the status of the working poor, especially women, in the informal economy. Due to some shifts in its current donor base, WIEGO is facing a major budget shortfall after 2015. This recommended grant would enable WIEGO to develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy. This will include conducting a donor environment scan, improving its measurement and learning system, creating materials useful for fundraising, and training staff to engage more productively with existing and prospective donors.
