Overview
The Wiki Education Foundation is a nonprofit organization that encourages and promotes faculty and student contributions to Wikipedia in academic learning contexts. With this sponsorship grant, Wiki Education will facilitate a course to guide scholars and researchers through the process of updating Wikipedia pages on open educational resources and practices. This project will provide Wikipedia’s readers with a better understanding of the existing OER landscape, paths for joining the OER movement, and the benefits and challenges of adopting OER in both K-12 and higher education contexts.
