Washington Resource Conservation and Development Council

The Washington Resource Conservation and Development Council facilitates partnerships between local, regional, state, and federal organizations that recognize they have a common challenge, but need help finding a common path toward solutions. The Washington Prescribed Fire Council (WAPFC) is a fiscally sponsored project of the Washington Resource Conservation and Development Council. WAPFC works to collaboratively facilitate the use of prescribed fire. This grant supports WAPFC’s work to better understand and inform Washington State’s Smoke Management Plan update process.
