for the executive director transition efforts
Urban Habitat is an Oakland-based environmental justice organization working for planning decisions that address the needs of low-income communities and communities of color. Their Executive Director left the organization in August and Urban Habitat has adopted a transition and recruitment plan, which started in October and is expected to culminate in January with a new ED. At this time, the organization has decided to handle the recruitment process internally and not hire a consultant . This grant to UH will help the organization during this transition process and will provide support until the new Executive Director is hired. At that time, we will expect an update on the organization's priorities.
