Grants to this Grantee
for support of the Center for an Informed Public’s research on digital disinformation
The Center for an Informed Public at the University of Washington integrates original research, policy, education, and outreach to help the public resist strategic misinformation, promote an informed society, and strengthen democratic discourse.
for leadership practice trajectories for transformed and equitable schools
The University of Washington Center for Educational Leadership works with education leaders to create empowering and equitable school experiences for students. This grant supports research on the practices of school leaders in two areas: how they observe and analyze classroom instruction and how they use these observations to design professional learning experiences for teachers. From this research, the Center will develop new professional learning strategies for school principals and other school leaders. As such, this grant advances the Education Program’s priorities of growing new exemplars of teacher practice, new knowledge about transforming education systems, new voices in discourse about public education and new conversations about teaching and learning.
