The forum will highlight the record and political reforms initiated in the 94th Congress under Democratic control. The symposium also will explore the record and reforms of the Republican-controlled House in the 104th Congress. With that historical perspective, the forum will consider the long-term impact of those two Congresses, comparing and contrasting them with the current management and operation of the House in the 114th Congress and showing how the House has evolved over the last 40 years.
