For Support Of The Berkeley Initiative For Transparency In The Social Sciences

Overview
The Berkeley Initiative for Transparency in the Social Sciences is a global network of scholars and institutions committed to improving the standards of openness and integrity in policy-oriented research. This grant will enable the Initiative to address the widening research capacity gap between scholars in the West and those in the Global South. The Initiative will do this through bringing visibility to research transparency efforts in resource-constrained institutions, providing hands-on training at UC Berkeley, in-country and online, and offering seed grants to support adoption of transparency best practices. The Initiative will translate dissemination and training materials into French and Spanish to increase accessibility.
