for federal and state implementation of federal climate investments  
The U.S. Energy Foundation is a partnership of philanthropies focused on securing a clean and equitable energy future to tackle the climate crisis. The Energy Foundation is working to support the successful implementation of the Inflation Reduction and Infrastructure Investment and Jobs acts through their federal tax guidance and state technical assistance initiatives. These initiatives are designed to optimize program design, support capacity building to guide programmatic success, overcome barriers to deployment, and grow public support for these climate investments. Through these initiatives, Energy Foundation will accelerate decarbonization and grow the number of stakeholders and communities benefitting from and supportive of continued climate investments. for the transportation program  
The U.S. Energy Foundation is a partnership of philanthropies focused on securing a clean and equitable energy future to tackle the climate crisis. This grant supports its Transportation Program. In the next year, the program will focus on securing strong national vehicle standards that will put the U.S. on track for >50% sales share of zero-emission vehicles by 2030. In addition, the program will fund a series of groups and advocates who are critical for various state-level regulations to advance electrification of freight vehicles. (Substrategy: Electrification)
for the Local Power Initiative  
The U.S. Energy Foundation is a partnership of philanthropies focused on securing a clean and equitable energy future to tackle the climate crisis. The Energy Foundation’s Local Power Initiative seeks to advance successful local planning, siting, and deployment of clean energy projects at the scale necessary to achieve 100 GW of deployment annually by 2030. The initiative will identify priority communities to build capacity and amplify early climate success, while supporting the development of baseline tools, such as modeling, technical research, and analytical support, to ensure these efforts are led by, benefit, and are supported by local leaders and their communities.
