For Continuation Of Data2X, Including Big Data Pilots

Overview
Data2X’s work is intended to improve the availability, quality, and use of gender data for decision making, as a part of the Sustainable Development Goals framework and beyond. This grant supports Data2X’s continued work to advocate for greater attention to and investment in gender data, and to facilitate technical partnerships between gender experts and major producers of social and economic data. With this grant, Data2X will increase its advocacy capacity by creating a more robust communications and policy engagement function. In addition, it will expand its capacity as a coordinating body and platform for gender data partnerships, ranging from improved civil registration and vital statistics to better measurement of work and labor force participation.

for the U.S. Climate Alliance
The U.S. Climate Alliance is a bipartisan coalition of governors representing 24 states, with more than 60% of U.S. GDP, 55% of the U.S. population, and 40% of U.S. emissions. These governors are committed to driving the nation’s ambitious climate agenda by working in partnership with each other, the federal government, and the international community. The alliance has an important role to play in implementation of federal climate investment laws by supporting state engagement with federal agencies, supporting the development of state decarbonization plans, and supporting effective deployment of federal dollars to drive decarbonization and community economic development.
