Overview
The Tulsa Community Foundation is hosting the "True North Fund," a $60 million funder collaborative organized by the Edna McConnell Clark Foundation. This proposed contribution from the Hewlett Foundation would support the expansion of several evidence-based youth development programs in California’s Bay Area and Central Valley. For example, these funds would help launch a Fresno site for the Center for Employment Opportunities, which runs a proven program for youth recently released from prison. This grant, which will use capital from the Serving Bay Area Communities Fund, is an opportunity for the Foundation to build upon the work of a trusted colleague while supporting some of the most vulnerable people in California.
