Founded in 2011, Tiny Spark is a news program and podcast that reports deeply and constructively on philanthropy, nonprofits, international aid and for-profit "social good" initiatives. A project of 52 Sparks, Inc., its stories aim to promote greater accountability and transparency among nonprofits, while also bringing attention to emergent programs and practices that are succeeding. Over the next two years, Tiny Spark intends to expand its investigative reportage, in-depth interviews, and comprehensive coverage of complex issues. To do so, it will partner with leading news organizations and work with seasoned freelance journalists across the globe. The reporting will strive to educate philanthropists and the general public about how to "do good" better.
