Overview
Knights of Indulgence Theatre (dba Imaginists Theatre) explores the intersection of arts, activism and community by re-thinking how theater engages its community, diverse in background, ethnicity, age, and socio-economic status. The company reaches more than 6,000 audience members through its regular season productions in its storefront performance space in downtown Santa Rosa, as well as through site-specific, bilingual, youth, classic, and original works, including the annual free bicycle touring show, El Arte es Medicina/Art Is Medicine. Renewed support would enable the Imaginists to continue to deepen its focus on education through after-school programming, school residencies, and theater arts training for college level and adults.
