Voters First is a new initiative being undertaken by the Common Sense Coalition that is focused on educating citizens and policymakers on the benefits of two inter-related sets of reforms -- the top two primary and nonpartisan redistricting -- that could support the election of officials more disposed to pragmatic and bipartisan problem-solving in Congress. Voters First will be supporting the adoption of these reforms on a nonpartisan basis. The purpose of this initial project grant is to enable the organization to retain a consultant in order to develop a strategic plan to guide its start up phase.
