Overview
The 52nd Street Project is dedicated to the "creation and production of new plays for, and often by, kids between the ages of nine and 18 residing in the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood in New York City." Founded in 1981 in response to a deepening need to improve the quality of life for the kids of Hell’s Kitchen, the project creates over 80 new plays and serves over 150 children every year, including after school programs, homework help, and scholarships. This grant will support development and implementation of a sustainable program evaluation system.
