Overview
This grant supports the SED Fund in advancing equitable energy transition and climate action. SED fund has been focused on (i) catalyzing investment and evidence-based policies for energy transition (ii) crafting a climate and energy narrative shift at regional/sub-national level and (iii) focusing on just transition of communities and workers. The fund will also start a new line of work focusing on Industry sector (primarily steel and cement). The foundation’s support to SED fund will mainly focus on electricity, workforce, finance and industry workstreams.
