Overview
In 2010, the World Population Foundation merged with Rutgers Nisso Groep, a Dutch expert center on sexuality, to create Rutgers WPF. The combined entity brings together strong research and advocacy capabilities, as well as established brands in both the Netherlands and in the international arena. A major focus of the international advocacy team during the grant period will be to ensure that sexual rights and reproductive health priorities are included in the post-2015 development goals. In pursuit of this objective, Rutgers WPF plans to target the Dutch and other supportive European governments as well as key G77 countries such as Kenya and Ghana to take a leadership role in advocating for sexual rights and reproductive health.
