The St. Lawrence String Quartet, an Ensemble-in-Residence at Stanford University, is working on an artistic and educational project to bring Haydn’s six Opus 20 "Sun" quartets to a larger public audience. Funding from the Hewlett Foundation will allow the quartet to create and disseminate high-definition audio and video performing these pieces, along with a free educational companion, through a Stanford open online course.
