Overview
Stanford’s Policy Analysis for California Education (PACE), in partnership with the University of Southern California and the University of California, Davis, seeks to increase the impact of academic research on educational policy by engaging scholars with state and local policymakers. PACE will support research on the implementation and impact of the Local Control Funding Formula. The formula has transformed the allocation of educational dollars and fostered a new accountability system for California’s schools. The new funding formula will greatly influence all districts’ capacity to engage students in deeper learning, shaping the resources, decisions, and context for teaching and learning.
