Stanford’s Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society is a research center for students, scholars, and practitioners to explore and share ideas that contribute to social change through academic research fellowships for students; funding for faculty research; course offerings, seminars, salons, workshops and conferences for broad audiences; and the operations of the preeminent Stanford Social Innovation Review, which includes the quarterly magazine, website, blog, webinars, and conferences. According to a recent Bridgespan study of 29,000 managers at foundations and nonprofits, the Review was ranked the most influential publication in the social sector and is considered the go-to knowledge resource by people in the field.
